While Mrs. Sue Yeun Kim and her daughters have successfully defected from North Korea, Mrs. Kim was unable to get treatment for the cancer she has had in North Korea until now. She has undergone multiple treatments and surgery, but her condition has advanced to an incurable stage and now she has but a few months left.
Principal Myung-Hwa Jue of Gyeo Le Eol School will take temporary custody of the two daughters when the time comes, and our organization will do whatever possible to comfort and support this beautiful family as much as we can.
